What software do I need to play videos? You will need a media player, such as Windows Media Player, Quicktime, VLC Media Player, etc. Our files are encoded in WMV formats, and we plan to release MOV versions of our movies. My Videos Aren't Playing ProperlyMedia Player Opens Right AwayIf you click the link to download the video and your media player opens right away and looks like it is frozen your web browser may be attempting to open the file instead of saving it. Right click the download link and click "Save File" or "Save Link." Windows Media PlayerMake sure you have the most recent version of Windows Media Player. Our videos are made to play on Version 9 and up. You can get the latest version for free at the Windows Media Player site, or download video codecs for your outdated version here. MacIf you are using Quicktime on your Mac you may need a free third party solution to play WMV files. Still not playing properly? If your videos are still not playing properly, and you have the most updated versions of the above software, you may need to check your video card drivers. This would be indicated by video playing slow or choppy, but sound is fine. You can also play our videos with the free VLC Media Player which has versions for PC, Mac, and Linux. Misc. Technical IssuesMy Downloads are very slow. How can I speed them up?The download speed can vary based on a lot of things, mostly the type of internet connection you use, and any additional software or network traffic on your computer. If you're running security or firewall software you may need to check your settings. If you are using a slower connection, such as dial-up or low-speed DSL, you can use a download manager to start and stop your downloads when you need to. How can I burn my videos to DVD?Using virtually any DVD burning software, such as Windows DVD Maker or Handbrake, you can burn your downloads to a DVD that many DVD players can play. Depending on the software you use, you may have to consult its maker's website. You require a DVD burner, blank DVD disc, and software ot burn it. How can I play my movies on my TV?If you are using a computer or laptop with a video out port, you can plug your computer into a TV and watch your movies on a bigger screen. Please consult your manufacturer's website on how to do this. If you have a newer generation gaming console you can also put your movies on a flash drive and watch it straight from your PS3 or Xbox 360. |
